Marian Caraway Gardner is better known to many as Marian L Caraway because she was very active in the Lake Mary community where she lived for 20 years.  She is a CPA and obtained a lot of experience working for other firms before opening her own office in 1985.  She is proud to have established a good working relationship with many small business clients who continue to depend on her experience with tax and accounting issues.

Marian's civic experience includes:  Past President of the Lake Mary Chamber of Commerce (1988) and board member for 9 years; Past Treasurer of Seminole County Friends of Abused Children (5 years); former City of Lake Mary Police Pension Board member (4 years) and she also served as campaign treasurer for various public officials while a resident of Seminole County.

Marian married John L Gardner in 1999 and moved to Orlando.  John retired from MacDonald Douglas in their St. Louis corporate offices.  Since their marriage, John has been teaching Marian how to play golf.  It became one of her passions and she enjoyed spending Friday working from her home office overlooking the 15th Fairway at Bay Hill.

In 2013 Marian returned to Lake Mary with John to a home on the 9th Fairway at Heathrow Country Club within walking distance to the Caraway Gardner offices.

New clients are just as important to Marian as those she has worked with for thirty years.  She likes to be able to explain very complex issues to someone to help them better understand their tax situation.
